Act! 2011 Premium upgrade from Act! Premium 2006

Once I copied over my files from my Act 2006 server, I'm receiving an error when I try to open the .adf file.  The first error, says there is an error in the application.  The second error is 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object.  This al happens when it's trying to convert the database from 206 to 2011.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Joe, go see if it converted anyway. I've seen this occasionally during conversion and then went and the pad file was there. It opened ok after that.

Thanks.

I actually had to deleted the old .pad file before I tried opening the .adf for the conversion to work.

I understand that, but see if a new one was created?  and open that one.

Yes, since I deleted the original .pad file, the conversion created a new one.  Then I was able to open the database with the newly created .pad file.

I'm up and working.
