Hi all, we are recently have trouble with act and I a only inherited this IT environment maybe 2 months ago. I don't know act very well. But the users are complaining that emailing within in no longer works. It was working before, based on what i have heard users selects a contact or mulitple contact and click write email, it will then pop up Microsoft Outlook Send Message Window. As of now, it keeps poping up with Act's Mail Client new message Window. It is driving the users insane because compare to outlook it is very limited. I did my best to ensure settings are correct.
The users have microsoft office 2003 with exchange setup, Act 2007 Premium.
Our current settings in preferences email:
Send email contacts using: microsoft outlook
always use microsoft outlook when sending email address
when viewing composing, use the Act! email program
The users claim that with these settings, it launches outlook's new message window with appropriate contacts in the CC box. I am running out of ideas and i tried everything even unisntalling office and act. Any help is much appreciated
