I'm an Act! Certified Consultant Can anybody tell me what stops me from installing Act! 16 for web then accessing it thru a network just like Act! 16 for Windows?

You can install AFW on a server, then have desktop clients access it as if it was Act! Premium.
No problem.
The AFW install will want IIS, it'll take a little more room. but other than that, good to go.

WARNING -
ACT for WEB via Terminal Server has big problems. The design only allows for the first user to integrate with Word and Outlook. When you go to connect the 2nd user it states that the integration programme has already been installed and must be removed to allow the 2nd user to use Word or Outlook.

Thanks, guys. That's exactly what I thought. In fact, I tested it yesterday.
I hate to sound stupid, but it's been a long time since I used Act! for Web.
Act! is still installed on the laptop accessing the server, right? I remember I had to setup an impersonator account, and security, but past that...
