I have attempted several times to convert Act 6 & 7 databases from different sources. Every time Act 12 Premium crashes during the conversion process without an error msg. After searching for and attempting several solutions, I have had no success. So I tried to convert an Act 7 database that was successfully converted previously and it also crashes. I’ve uninstalled and re-installed ACT 12 and still no success. What else can I do to get this working?

By ACT! 12, do you mean ACT! 2010 (12.0) or ACT! 2012 (14.0)?
Are you running the latest build? What is the build in Help | About?
Is the V6 database 2002 (6.0) or 2006 (8.0)?\
Is it a DBF or ADF file?
What happens when it crashes if no error?
Is there anything in the Conversion Log - see this ACT! Knowledge Base article -

Sage ACT! Premium 2012 Version 22.214.171.124
V6 database 2002 (6.0) DBF
The conversion process starts and within a few seconds AC crashes with the following vague message.

Same with version 7 data.
Data has been cleaned up on the original version in both cases as per the tips mentioned.
I have tried standard and custom conversions.
