My client changed the name and address of one of their Sage50 Customer records.
Example - name in Sage was 'ABC Local'.
Integration worked and this loaded ok into ACT.
Then they changed the company name to 'ABC Local & Handy'.
Integration has NOT made any changes to ACT.
Settings are One way, Sage50 to ACT, ERP wins, update is every 60 minutes.
Does anybody know how to explain this please?

We don't normally support the Sage 50 to Sage ACT! interface, but here are some items that may help isolate or resolve the issue:

Hello, I have revisited this problem because it is still unresolved.
If you do not normally support Sage to Act integration, then could you please let me know who does and I will contact them instead.
Both the Sage50 and the ACT are the absolute latest up to date versions as downloaded from the official sites.
ACT is 2013 Premium. Sage 50 is 2013.
There were no address changes, only Name changes.
If I rebuild the ACT / Sage integration, it works for that one time only.
When we add NEW customers and or suppliers to Sage50, they DO NOT migrate over to ACT! unless I rebuild the integration link again and it works just for that one time only. Address changes do migrate over correctly.
a) The Sage to ACT automatic integration just does not work properly
b) the phrase 'Integration' means that a human being has to manually do the integration every time that a new customer is added to Sage (no practical use to any organisation in this universe)
c) There is some special or hidden button or option to be set somewhere to make it work.
This is now becoming a show stopper for this project and I would appreciate any help whatsoever on it.
Thank in anticipation,

nobody seems to want to reply with any sort of answer to this problem.
I wonder if I am not describing the problem in simple enough terms.
So I will take another approach.
Can anybody tell me what Accounting Integration is supposed to do for the users of ACT Premium?

Re the Sage Account NAME change -
I have been told by ACT support that this is due to a BUG in ACT.
It is supposed to work but it doesnt.
Re then NEW Sage customers NOT automatically being copied into ACT, I have been told by ACt Support that the Account Integration function is not really automatic at all. Apparently, if you add a new customer (or supplier) to SAGE50, you must then go into ACT and MANUALLY bring it across by invoking Import Accounts Data from the menu.
What if the SAGE operator doesnt hav an ACT login? Well I guess that they will have to send a memo to "somebody" in the set of ACT users who has the authority to do the import.
Not very joined up is it?
Not what I would have called "Integration".
So this one is closed with a big slice of yet more disappointment.
