Jumping in feet first with my first post:
I am experiencing an issue specific to ACT! Premium 2013 on the web.
I have a drop down for the cities field which contains roughly 14700 entries.
when I attempt to type in the name of a city i wish to use on a contact, I can only select something that starts with A - Ba, the drop down list does not go any further, and if I try to type in something starting with C, for example, the field deletes it.
If I choose the option to edit values, the entire list is displayed in that window.
what I have tried so far is to edit the field so that "enable type-ahead" has been unticked.
-when I do this, the field will allow me to select something from the drop down (again only A - Ba) but I cannot type anything into the field until the "enable type-ahead" is ticked back on.
Can anybody suggest some possible solutions/KBs?

I am pretty sure that you're stuck. I am not aware of any ways or means to tweak APFW to address super large drop downs.

Hi Mark, thanks for getting back to me.
We determined a work around to resolve the issue, by reducing the size of the list.
we did a search on the database, and created a list of all the suburbs that are currently being used, which brought us down to around 30-40 entries.
APFW now works as expected, and new suburbs will just be added in as they are needed.
