APFW Hosted by ACT! - Outlook Integration accessed from Citrix/TS environment?

Hello,

Our end-users are in the following environment:

  • 3 x Windows 2008 R2 (Hosted Shared Desktops) with .NET 4.5.1 installed
  • 30 users
  • Browser: IE 11 with "actserver.com.au" URL added to compability view

The initial test installing "ACT! Outlook Integration" on the base image did not work. When users log-on to their session, the following pop-up message appears:

ACT.Integration has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program.

Checking the Event Viewer on one of the Citrix Desktop targets, we can see two event errors:

1. .NET Runtime

1. Would this be caused by the version of .NET installed on the Citrix VDA targets?

2. Is ACT! Outlook Integration "hosted by ACT!" supported by accessing it from TS/Citrix environments? If yes, is there any KB or best-practices on how-to correctly setup the add-on?

Thank you for your help, much appreciated.
