APFW 2009 - Setting Up Synchronization Database with which App?

I'm working on getting Network Synchronization up and running. I've got everything set up except for 1 thing: On the client computer (the "subscriber"), which version of the program should be installed, the Premium version or the Premium for Web version? The discs that I received contain both the 'premium web' version as well as the 'premium' version.

I tried installing the Premium version. It keeps prompting me for serial numbers. Will I have to enter all the serial numbers we've received for the seats we've purchased?

I checked the knowledgebase but it was vague at best.

1. Just the Premium version. The Premium for Web is only for the web server

2. You only need to enter one serial for each workstation they get added to the database when that user logs in

Hey Mike, thanks for your reply.

If I have a user that will be using ACT through the browser as well as through the application, won't my existing licenses apply here...

or are the web licenses different from the application licenses?

The web licenses are all loaded on the server. The full app (LAN/sync) are added on the system even if added on the server as well

So I should simply pick one of the server licenses and add it to the application I just installed.

If the licenses are dual access (both) then yes. If not, you may have different keys for Web and Premium access and need to just add Premium one to the PC
