AMA eMail Bounces and Same Outlook eMail Doesn't

I am just starting to use Act Marketing Automation (AMA) in version 22 Premium in a hub and spoke environment. 

 

At the present, the format is "Sales" using "WYSIWYG".

 

When completing a very simple Sales eMail with text only and clicking on the test (both were people in the same company), the eMails were routed to the SPAM folder.  If the same eMail was created in Outlook, the delivery was to the inbox.

 

Swiftpage's only advice is to go to the ISP and have the eMail address whitelisted.  

 

The question I keep asking Swiftpage is why does the eMail go to junk with AMA and not with Outlook?  The same answer comes back to have the eMail addresses whitelisted.  

 

Has anyone had to deal with this.

as stated on the phone you need to update your DNS Settings 

 

1. https://www.dmarcanalyzer.com/spf/spf-record/  

2. https://www.dmarcanalyzer.com/dmarc/

 

in both, you have to add the IP´s that are named here

this will not solve 100% but it should solve most cases... 

also outlook detects if the mail is created by outlook, and depending on the spam settings, this can also "raise" the spam level, so a mail may show in the spam folder. 

 

there are different points that may raise the spam level

 

HTML format, Links , Words like i.e. Free, sex, one time, and other Words that are used to make a mail interesting

 

you may also want to use this page to identify what is causing the "spam" level to raise.
