I have spent over 4 hours on the phone with Act Support and so far no solution
On Windows PC, Windows Admin user can open ACT RDB and can open and logi nto ACT with both ACT Admin credentials as well as ACT user credentials.
If we swtich to Windows user on the same PC, we can log in to ACT with both user credentials.
If we reboot and log into the pc with Windows user acocunt, we get the error "Act7 SQL Server can't start..." Sometimes it says Act is trying to start SQL server and it does nothing. ACT7SQL Serve process has no status and Windows user (non-Admin) cannot start it (greyed out).
Act Support has remoted in and tried unisntalling and re-installing SQL Server with no success. It usually works the first time but when rebooted it does not work.
They also suggested giving the WIndows user full Admin priveleges on the PC but I don't want to do that.
Any suggestoins on how to resolve this?
