ACT17 Prem - Windows10

I updated yesterday from Win 8.1 to Windows 10,... after that  ACT is working normaly, but after quitting the program get in the middle

the error screen :

 

Red Cross

 ""Object reference not set to an instance of an object""

 

The Windows10 was merely an update (leaving all programs/files intact),i didnot change anything myself.

 

Little annoying, can it be fixed..?

Looks like everybody on holidays,as no replies at all.
Most people are working with earlier Windows version I think.

 

Have read the Windows 10 issue in the Community , and Swiftpage advises ....NOT to work/update to W10  !!

 

A little late to anounce that end of July.2015  Swiftpage probably did not check it with the earliert W10 Pre-Releases....

ACT is becoming more and more into the background compared with the Cloud Programs like Salesforce etc..

Hallo Brottany, thanks for your "reply" ,which not helpful, as you were referring to some 20 articles

in Know.Bay.

Could you be more precise, as I am not the only one,having this problem.

Should I reinstall ACT 17 Premium to get rid of this Pop Up upon closing Act.

Surely you can recoginize this is a problem related to Windows 10.

 

Does ACT have a solution or is anyone at Act looking at this?

It's a known problem with Act! v17 and WIndows 10.  I believe that they have found and fixed the issue in a hotfix that should be released in the near future.  In the meantime you can check the following KB for other issues and their status with Act! v17 and WIndows 10.

Hi Randy,

 

Yes, this is a known issue and the Act! Development team is working on the compatibility between Act! V17 and Windows 10.
Stan provided our knowledgebase article of known issues being worked on. I will provide an update as soon as I can regarding any fixes that are completed.
