ACT! in a non persistent VDI Pool

We would like to deploy ACT! in a non persistent VDI model using Citrix.  The problem we are running across is that when we spin a new VM from the Master VM the non persistent VDI or VM becomes unlicensed even though the master image is licensed.  Is there a way to get this model to work?  Thanks all!

Re: ACT! in a non persistent VDI Pool

Although not an expert in this configuration model, my understanding is a non-persistent VDI does NOT hold the user preferences once the session is ended.

You might be better off creating a VM master and deploying as a set configuration.  You might still need to register each system separately but you can at least cut down on the deployment costs.

Or use a Citrix main system that other users use Remote Desktop to access their slice using the same shared database.

Sorry can't be of more help.

Re: ACT! in a non persistent VDI Pool

Thanks for the response, Bud.  We currently using Act! as a published application hosted on a few servers but we are trying to get away from that due to other issues.  We might have found the fix for it but still waiting for the results.  If we do figure it out I'll post the setup here.  Thanks again!
