ACT for WEB and Edge

[ Edited ]

I had some complaints from users last week that they could not close down activities when ticking the box in ACT for WEB.

It had been working before a window 10 update so thought that might be the problem.

What I found is that MS had changed everyone's default browser from IE to Edge with the windows update.

Not sure if ACT be changed to work with Edge as it is a cut down feature browser but thought I would share this experience if others have the same problem.

The latest Windows 10 Update was in fact almost a new version so wonder what other gems MS slipped in without asking !!!!

I regularly suggest Google Chrome or place internet explorer in the taskbar...
... this is in the list of requirements and compatibility of Act! Premium V20

Re: ACT for WEB and Edge

I can't speak for customers, but the latest Windows update certainly did change my default browser back to edge.

Thanks Microsoft.
