ACT! by Sage 2008 For WEB

Greetings, Question: I already installed ACT! Premium for Web, and Web options configured, when I go to ACT! by Inetrnet Explorer inside the office,,, I don't have a problem, but what would be the next step for me to access the database from outside the office using internet explorer?

Thank you.

1. Making sure you have a static IP or Dynamic DNS to access your office (your ISP should be able to help)

2. Set port forwarding on your internet router to forward the IIS web port (usually 80) to the IIS server

Last Question - ACT! by Sage 2008 For WEB

Thank you very much, I will check with my ISP to verify this point.
When I go to my database by Internet Explorer inside the office,  I write http://192.168.1.10/apfw - Question: Can you give me an example of how would do outside the office if my IP address is (example): 7A.9F.65.861  (I Just want to have an idea)
Thanks again

You would just replace the "192.168.1.10" with your external IP address or domain name

Re: Last Question - ACT! by Sage 2008 For WEB

Hi,

I got around the problem by installing no-ip, but still have one small problem:

I am able to get to the page in IE, but the database select field is blank - so can't login...?

Regards.
