We have a user using ACT that when then send an email from Outlook, it's attaching to the history of a completely random contact in ACT. The email they are sending to is in no way associated to the contact it's attaching to. Any way known to turn this off? Under Email-Record History in the setup wizard, we have None selected for the type of history that will be recorded. Below is the history being recorded. We are ACT V16, Hotfix 4, Outlook 2010 (32-bit).

Does this happen with every contact you send an email to, or does it seem to just be specific contacts?
Let's say that the contact that the history should have been recorded under is John Smith, and the contact that it is actually recorded under is Jane Doe. Does the history always get recorded under Jane Doe's record every time you send John Smith an email? Or does it find its way into other contacts?
If your database is a multi user database, does this happen when any user sends an e-mail to John Smith, or is there a specific user that this occurs with?

The user is not even sending an email to a contact. The email is addressed to email addresses that are not even in our ACT database. Yes, this is a shared database on our network.
We solved the issue by removing the link between ACT and Outlook.
