I am trying to set up a remote database, but when I try to sync my contacts the message I receive says that the port cannot listen for connections. I've tried to make sure that I am running the program as an administrator and turned off antivirus, but I must have missed something. Any way to force through the connection?

Can you provide some addtional information about your issue:
- What version of ACT! are you running?
- Are you synchronizing across a local network or through the internet
- Have you installed and set up Network Sync Service or Internet Sync Service?
- When enabling the sync service, is it able to start - or does it fail to acquire the port?
