ACT Premium v17 with emarketing subscription.

Hi ACT Team,

 

I'm curently using ACT v17 and subscripted emarketing recently. I found the email template can only merge some standard field such as contact, company name. But I'm not able to merge with custom field. Does any solution to merge those custom field. Many thanks!

We need Act! to pick up the new password details.

Here is a little (4 steps) process to do this.

1. Log into website and change password back to previous password. This should allow them back in via Act!.
2. Once in emarketing in Act!
a. Write>Swiftpage Emarketing>Email Marketing
b. Account (bottom right)
c. Account tab (top left)
d. Type in Account Password and click Connect\disconnect existing users.
e. On right hand window select your username and choose disconnect user.
f. Close out of Act!.
3. Log into website and change password to new password.
4. Open Act! and go Write>Swiftpage Emarketing>Email Marketing, this should ask you to create an account or log into an existing account, put in your details with the new password.

All should now be working.

Hi Eric,

Currently, Act Emarketing will only merge with the fields listed within the Mail Merge dropdown list. If you require the use of custom field merging in your template, Swiftpage Emarketing might be a better option.

Hi Andrew,

 

May I have another question? I try to use ACT build in mail merge function. And I already completed the email setup which is integrated with my outlook 2013. I try to lookup several contact and send out email thru standard template which already come with ACT by default. but the recevier only recevied a email with no content. Please kindly advise. Thanks!

Hello Eric,

To link Swiftpage Emarketing with act v17, we first need to enable the related plugin.

1. In Act, go to Tools
2. Select Manage Add-ons…
3. Once the Manage Add-ons screen appears ensure that a checkmark is placed on the ACTSPE2005 item
4. Click Apply
5. Restart Act!

Once the Plugin is enabled, the next step would be to link your Swiftpage Emarketing Account to you Act user.

1. In Act, go to Write
2. Select Swiftpage Emarketing, then select Email Marketing
3. A Swiftpage Emarketing box will appear
4. Select “Sign in using my Swiftpage Emarketing account”
5. Click “Next”
6. Enter your account information
7. Click “Next”
8. Then Click “Close”

Your Swiftpage Emarketing account should now be linked to Act.

To Access it from Act, go to Write>Swiftpage Emarketing>Email marketing.
