ACT! Premium for Web (10.0.3.139) - Cannot insert notes?

My users are having a very interesting problem with the web interface... 

 

Things seem to be just fine for almost everything.  They're able to add contacts, modify them, and all of the other basic tasks, but as soon as they attempt to insert a note, the pop-up window states that an error has been logged, and displays the logon screen.  

 

At this point, the user's session is broken, and they need to log back into the system to do anything.

 

Has anyone else seen this error?

I've usually seen this issue resolved by restarting IIS on the server.

I have found solution at lease with windows server 2003 enterprise edition with 8GB ram and Xeon quad core processor.

 

After installing .net 3.5 this issue began, found patch from MS called DisableAjaxPolicy.EXE - Ran batch file to patch, rebooted. Reset all .net virtual directories from 2.0 to 1.0 , then back again. ran iisreset -- No problems for 2 days when it was happening daily..
