I have purchased ACT premium for financial professionals 11. I unfortunately was to busy to install this during the initial 30 day support period and now I am stuck.
I have 5 users who need to use this and i need to plan if I need a server. I can't find any documentation on multiuser usage.
My ideal situation would be 1 central sql server (no act installed, just hosting the database), and 5 clients with ACT installed pointing to this central database.
I ran the installer on my workstation and i get no options on pointing the installation to a SQL database. it just trys to install msde.
Even if i installed it on my workstation and hosted SQL there, how would the 2nd user connect to my SQL database for the shared info?
I hope this makes sense and someone can explain.

ACT! has to be installed on the database server.
