ACT! Premium (Web) 2013 / Outlook integration Problems

ACT! Version: 15.0.311.0 (remote access)

Outlook 2007 Version: 12.0.6668.5000

 

 

My company has recently installed an upgrade to the above Version of ACT!, prior to this I was able to synchronise emails and appointments generated in Outlook with the same in ACT!

 

Since the upgrade I cannot and I receive message telling me that update is required, and to uninstall the existing integration component before downloading the upgrade from the E-mail preferences dialog box in ACT! Professional for Web.  It tells me that I can do this via the Add/Remove programs feature on my computer.  The problem is that it doesn't show up in the feature so I can't remove the program.

 

There are two files that refer to the Integration with the Programs folder:

 

An application  :  ACT/ACT for Web/ClientSrvs/Office/Outlook/Sage.Act.Integration  at 96kb and

A CONFIG File   :  ACT/ACT for Web/ClientSrvs/Office/Outlook/Sage.Act.Integration.exe.config at 8kb

 

How do I clear the system to enable me to install the new integration files?

Hi Greg,

Thanks for your reply, however KB Article 20354 only covers up to 2011 version and I need registry keys for 2012/13.  Any chance you could supply these?

PS: I have looked at the 2011 keys and they aren't matched on my version.

Thanks for bringing the deficiency with the article to my attention.  I will get the information updated, but it may take a day or 2...  I will let you know as soon as I get it updated.

Just a thought, there are 3rd party unistallers to get rid of stubborn HP and Symantec software, so wouldn't it be better if Sage wrote one for ACT!?
