Using the ACT premium web version 2012, each time the user tries to write a letter, they are asked "Do you want to open or save letter.amm from the act server?, if they open it then word starts up.
If i login as an admin, word will open up and not asked the question?
Just annoying to the user

This appears to be a setting/restriction when using IE9 - which has no option for disabling.
To verify your situation, what browser are the users using? What browser are you using?
Were you signed onto their computer when you opened the database and did not receive the prompt?
Performing a search on Google/Bing returned a lot of 'Do you want to open or save *file*' discussions, all basically centered around IE9.
Does this match what you are experiencing?
