I recently updated two of our computers on the server with Hotfix 6 and the following error appears when we try and synchronise our database...
'[ Error | 9/07/2013 12:00:09 PM ]Message: Synchronisation has failed. The remote database is using a different ACT! version than the main database. '
Can anyone assist me with this error?
Thanks in advance

Is the local machine that has the remote on it the same version build etc as server? Also once you applied the hotfix did you recreate the remote? You vcan check the versions by clicking Help and About ACT!

Make sure you open the database on both machine after applying the update to the software. this will update the databases to the correct version. You can tell the version of the database itself from actdiag. (start, run, Actdiag) on the database tab.
