ACT! Premium 2010 for web

In ACT! for web when attempting to perform a mail merge it prompts the user for a password.  When the password is entered the prompt returns again, and again.  It never authenticates to the mail server.  I have verified the username/password, and also the tools/preferences/email setup.  When sending a individual email it works fine, but when doing a mail merge it doesn't  Anyone seen this before?

What service have you configured in APFW for your email provider?

Depending on your email provider, the ACT! Email client may not be able to connect to your providers email servers. The ACT! Email can only connect to the default ports of Port 25 for SMTP (outgoing) and Port 110 for POP3 (incoming). If your email provider is using ports other than these default ports or if they are using SSL, then ACT! Email will not be able to connect to them. An alternative would be to use Outlook to connect to your internet mail account, then have the ACT! for Web Outlook service connect to Outlook.

we are using standard ports (25 for smtp, and 110 for pop)  When attempting to email from a contact record the email works fine.  When attempting to send out a mail merge to 20 people it prompts for a username/password  which continues to come back after the correct username and password is entered.
