ACT! Premium 2009 for workgroups 11.1.183.0, Hotfix 1 RDB sync failure

We are running ACT! 2009 for workgroups 11.1.183.0, Hotfix 1 with about 22 remotes syncing via the internet and it has been working flawlessly until I got this one today from a user.

"Syncronization has failed. Server Error Description: Agent Facade failed to apply changes. Status Manager failed to apply stauses. Status are not in sync with the source packets. Contact your administrator for assistance"

The user is a temp that may have gotten bad instructions on entering data or the remote is bad, but the remote synced once after installation 2 weeks ago so I am guessing that there is bogus data somewhere it should not be. Is a new RDB in order or can I go in and fix the issue. THis is the only RDB of the 22 that cannot sync.

Assistance Please!

Regards,

Dave Micka

Try having the user run maintenance on their remote database.

From ACT!

- Sign into the remote database as an Admin user (if they are not an Admin in the database, then will need to sign in as one of the Admin users)

- Go to Tools/Database Maintenance/Check and Repair

- Close ACT!

ACT! Diagnostics

- From the Windows Start menu go to Run (XP) or Search (Vista) and type actdiag

- When ACT! Diagnostics opens, go to Databases, then Database List...locate the remote database on the list and highlight it

- Right-click on the database and select Database Rebuilds. You will several rebuild options. Run the first 4 in order, one at a time

- When done with the rebuilds, right-click on the database again and select Reindex

- Close ACT! Diagnstics, open ACT! and attempt to sync

Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
