ACT Premium 2007 Licensing question

My company recently upgraded our network version from ACT Premium 2007 Express Sequel  to a Standard Sequel.  My question is, how does that licensing work.  Does the amount of users transfer to the different version and free up licenses on the express version?  Or does it not matter that we changed the Sequel Version and the licensing is strictly for the ACT 2007 software?

Re: ACT Premium 2007 Licensing question

Your licenses would not change by going from SQL Express to Standard.  You may want to verify that ACT! on the server is using SQL Standard by going to ACT! Diagnostics.  From the Windows Start menu, choose Run, then type in actdiag. The opening screen for ACT! Diagnostics will display the version of SQL that the ACT! instance is using.

Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
