ACT Prem for Web 2005 - mail client generates error upon send

[ Edited ]

I am getting an error when sending an email from ACT Premium for Web 2005 and I cannot figure out how to resolve it.

This is the sequence:

Open web email client from main menu

Create email

Send email

Application generates the following error message:

An error has occurred in the script on this page.

Line:  26

Char: 2

Error:  Object doesn't support this property or method

Code:  0

URL: {URL removed.  Points to log in for your web database}

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

Yes/No

Click "Yes", error message goes away, and all data is removed from email

Click Cancel button on mail client dialog

Msg pops up saying that email will not be sent

Email is sent anyway and appears in the In-Box of the recipient

Any help with this issue will be greatly appreciated.

What version of Internet Explorer are you using?  If you are using IE7, then ACT for Web 2005 is not supported for that version.

Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.

Yes, I am running IE 7 with APFW 2005.  I did not know that APFW 2005 did not support IE 7.  I have looked all over the KnowledgeBase and I did not see this documented.  I will assume APFW will support IE 6 and back.

Thanks,
