Two of my seven machines have recently experianced an issue that when you try to attach a file to an Outlook generated email, the whole system freeze for up to five minutes. This has only cropped up since my install of ACT 11.0.

This may be an email scanner or antivirus blocking the attach process. Try turning off any that you running and see if the issue happens.
