ACT! Dialer

Hi

What are the PABX keyphone brand supported by the ACT! Dialer. Will the Dialer just record the sound system or it translate into text file.

TQ in advance for your advise.

Extract from the ACT! Help.

Dialing calls and recording histories

You can dial a call and record a history of the call to the contact's record. Any comment?

Re: ACT! Dialer

The ACT Dialler will dial the contact through any phone system that has a standard TAPI driver and then at the end of the call allow you to record a history record for the contact called, just like any other history created for a contact it is the time and date, what its regarding etc and any standard text about the call that you wish to type in manually. I Hope this clears up your question Smiley Happy

"Recording a history of the call" isn't the same as recording the call

Is there any 3rd party software can record the Call? This is for a propsect who want to record the call for their telemarketer so that they can review their performance?

Re: ACT! Dialer

You want to be looking at call recording solutions for your phone system and record them completely independantly to ACT. If you want to then attach the recording to a contact in ACT then the only call recording solution I know of is Oak Telecom ProVoice Enterprise which isnt a cheep solution but it does work pretty well.
