We use ACT within Citrix for our remote locations. All works well except for registering Opportunities.  This task will hang for a very long time.  Typically 2-3 minutes.
Any experience with this out there?

First thing I would check is if the issue is database specific. I would test this process in the ACT Demo and see if you have the same results. If you do not, you will want to run all maintenance on your database using the steps in the following kb answer:
