Hi,
my company just updated our version of act, because it had all these new security promises. We were fooling around with assigning positions, like Administrater, Standard and Manager and ran into some problems assigning certain roles for security. My question is: is there a position where you can send tasks to each other, but block the ability to delete complete contacts?

Set them as a standard user and remove the the delete records permission. This prevents the user from deleting contacts, companies, groups, activity series, notes, histories, opportunities, and secondary contacts the user owns.

Yes, but will they be allowed to send activities to other users on our database? I tried doing what you said, but they weren't allowed to send activities to other users.

You will need to grant view and schedule calendar access for the users. See KB below.
