I am running ACT! 2013 Premium on a new installation of Windows 10. 4 times now I've had ACT claim that it is in trial mode, and that the trial has expired, when this is a fully licensed product. I found this thread with a solution but I've had to repeat the process over and over. What causes this? Is there a solution?
The database is stored locally.

This may be an issue with your anti virus software making changes to the files.
Knowledgebase article 25125 has some information on adding exclusions to the anti virus software which may help resolve the issue. In addition to what is mentioned in the article, I would suggest also adding C:\Program Data\ACT\ActData to the exclusion list in your anti virus.
