ACT 2012 locks up when trying to modify group membership for a contact

In ACT 2012 premium, clicking the Add/Remove Groups button on the Group/Company tab causes ACT to lockup (forced to kill it in Task manager).  No trouble in the Group view, only in contact view and it happens every time.  This is a new behavior for the user.  I did maintenance and rebuilds and un/reinstalled ACT.  The behavior is not database specific (does the same thing in ACT demo).  Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Hi Scott. This might actually be due to the prompt opening up outside the bounds of the screen. Check out the information in the following knowledgebase article:
