I have a few users who are constantly complaining to me about what a "pain" it is to have to click on the Word window to open it, after opening a template or mail merge, etc. I don't see the big deal, but if possible, I'd like to find a way around it for them.
I know that by design, ACT opens up Word windows in a minimzed state. I've spoken to tech support, and they say there's no way around it.
I was hoping that perhaps someone else might have found a work-around, to make the windows open with focus in front of ACT, rather than minimized.

I'd like this also ...
You might post a request for this feature to be considered for a future version here -
Input from this web page goes directly into a database that management has direct access to read, and which they also track and gather statistics on. It also allows other users to vote on these so Sage can get an idea of the demand
This article might help word the request to make it easier for management to look at it:

This is a great question and was a feature of previous versions of ACT! with your permission I want to see if I am able to create this as a small FREE plugin. If you send me an email I will put this together next week and post a response once complete.
A couple of questions
1. Do you want Word to maximised when brought to the front or happy if it staty the same size
2. do you often have more than one Word window open at the same time or genrally only one.
