ACT 2012 Synch error message. Cannot Synch

I am now getting an error message "Synchronization has failed.  Cannot insert duplicate key row in object sys.syscommittab with unique index 'si_xdes_id'.  Failed to flush the commit table to disk in dbid 9 due to error 2601.  Check error log for more information.  The statement has been terminated."  I found KB article 28141, and thought that batch file would fix it.  Followed directions, and same error message persists.  Anyone know how to fix this?  Prior to this, network synch was working.  Thanks,  Carl

Sage ACT! 2012 has Service Pack 1 coming out. That has the fix for a lot of sync issues. It is not yet available for download, but expect it in the next few weeks, and that should sort your sync issue.

Hi, we have the Synchronization has failed. Cannot insert duplicate key row in object sys.syscommittab with unique index 'si_xdes_id'. If you are getting any sync errors, please check your version of ACT!. If it is not 2012 SP1, please update both

your computer and all other computers with ACT! to that version.

Then try syncing after that update. Does it still fail?

Thanks for the prompt response both machines have the ACTPro2012SP1_AU_Update.exe installed, and the issue still exists, is this likely to have anything to do with the latest updates from Windows, thanks

Thanks for your help with this, I have now resolved the problem with assistance from Judy Bond our trusty New Zealand Sage ACT specialist who went above and beyond the call of duty, would recomend to others.

I have referenced the aforementioned knowledgebase article. I have completed all of the steps suggested in all three options. I have done this on both the server and the remote machine and I get the same error message. I welcome any suggestions.

Has anyone successfully solved this issue?
Updated to SP1 and tried all the solutions in the support article, problem still persists.

ACT has been nothin but trouble for my company...
