ACT! 2011 Contact List View - Customize Columns

Greetings, I was doing a test and demonstration to customers on ACT! 2011, he was showing them how to include Field # to the list of contacts, then listed all the fields, and when I wanted to return to Field # algins left alone I get this error message.

Can you imagine how you feel when you're in a practice or a demo and does this happen?

Can you imagine how you feel  when you go to right click to send v-card and the system does nothing?

Thanks for the help, Blessings

Re: ACT! 2011 Contact List View - Customize Columns

You are receiving this message due to an issue with adding Yes/No fields to the Contact List.  To resolve this you will need to remove the Yes/No fields from the Contact List view.

Since you are now unable to select Customize Columns, the way to reset the columns is:

- open a different database (that doesn't contain the Yes/No fields - ex: ActDemo)

- go to Contact List view and select Options > Customize Columns > Reset

- close Act! > then reopen and access production database
