We have a user in our ACT! 2010 database that will not allow for sending a vCard. The user is in the "Contacts" area and when pulling down the Contact menu bar, the item for "send a vCard" is grayed out. Does anyone know what may be causing this or how to fix it?
Also, we have each of our users set up to use the Phone Contact feature, however every morning when we log in, we have to reconfigure it in the Communications tab of preferences. Is there a way to make sure that it is always active so we don't have to update our settings each time?

The 'Send Vcard' option will be grayed out if your user(s) is defined with 'Standard' or 'Browse' authority.
If you are running Act! on a Vista or Win7 computer, you may need more authority to save the dialer settings to the Preference files:
- close Act!
- right click on Act! icon
- select Properties
- click on Compatibility tab
- put check mark in box for 'Always run as Administrator' (at bottom of screen)
- click OK to apply and close window
- click on Act! icon to open > set Preferences
