ACT! 2010 - Outlook 2003 Calendar Integration Issue

I have an issue with the Calendar Integration of Premium 2010 Version 12.1.181.0, Hot Fix 1 and Outlook 2003 SP3.

Integration is set to "Copy between both calendars and keep the ACT! activity if both changed.

 

If I create an Activity in ACT! it initially appears in Outlook correctly. The scheduler runs every hour and all stays fine.

If I modify the activity in ACT! and manually integrate it into Outlook, I get a second entry in Outlook.

If I integrate manually again another entry appears in Outlook.

I did this 8 times and have 8 entries in Outlook and only one in ACT!.

 

Has anyone come across this before?

Yes.

 

I would never use the function to copy in both directions.

Then what is the purpose of Sage putting that option into ACT!?

Kinda makes it a pointless addition to 2010.

It's actually possible to get it to work if Outlook isn't syncing with anything else (mobile phone, Exchange, etc)... other than that, just use it for one way sync
