I installed ACT 2009 (11) Premium on my colleague's new Windows 7 laptop. Whenever he launches ACT, he gets the following error:
"The input stream is not a valid binary format. The starting contents (in bytes) are: 3C-23-23-20-4E-41-53-43-41-20-44-52-4D-20-46-49-4C...".
He can dismiss it, and use the program, but it continues to pop up everytime he launches. Incidentally, I'm having problem getting him to sync with a master ACT database, but I'm not sure if it's related.
I have looked on ACT's site for an explanation, but can't find a resolution. A Google search seems to indicate something to do with .NET. Anyone have any ideas?
