Is there any log for a user to see that will allow them to see what items were changed when they sync their Remote Database? We have about 10 users who share a database with approx 5,000 contacts and it would be helpful for them to be able to see what changes may have been made to their remote database with their latest sync.

Welcome to the ACT! Online Community. Unfortunately, there is not a log that list specific updates done during a sync, but there a couple of other tools you may find useful:
There are three sync reports available in the ACT! Diagnostics utility than can be run from either the main database or the remote...the data will differ depending on which machine you run it from.
- From your Windows Start menu, choose "Run" and type in actdiag (for Vista, just type this command in the Search box)
- When ACT! Diagnostics comes up, choose Databases/Database List
- Locate, highlight, then right-click on the main or remote database you want to report on, then select Database Report/Sync Reports
-You will see three reports there...the Sync Preview Report provides the most detailed data. For more information on the reports, go to Help/ActDiag User's Guide
You perform a lookup in ACT! that will search for contacts updated via sync based on given criteria. Just go to Lookup/Advanvced/Last Synchronized. Choose your date range and what areas of the database you would like searched (Notes, Histories, etc.). If running from the main (Publisher) database, you can select which remote database to view synced contacts from.
Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
