ACT 2009 Opportunity Bug

Using ACT 2009 PR ST.

Creating a new opportunity, then under the  "Product /Service" tab.

If you go and replace "New Product" with say, ACT 2009 PR ST, and this product is NOT an item from the drop down list, the item will revert back to "New Product" when you add a new product or close the opportunity and not save what you typed. Can this be confirmed as a Bug?

Gary,

 

If you type something new and then just click OK you are right it does not seem to save this but if you TAB from the product field and then click on OK it seems to work fine

Your right Paul, using the TAB key does the job. I'll have to re-train some of my clients that can't seem to use anything but the mouse.
