ACT 2008 Premium and Outlook 2003. Windows XP SP2. Office 2003.
The ACT Toolbar and ACT buttons cannot be disabled. They load every time a new email is created. I would like to get rid of the ACT toolbar and all ACT buttons within Outlook 2003. The load times are slowing down my users who do not need/want this functionality.
Within ACT, I have nothing checkmarked in the "Email System Setup".
Within Outlook 2003, I have the ACT Extensions unchecked/disabled in the Add-ins options.
I have tried removing the toolbar. But it comes back the next time I create a new message.
This is happening on multiple computers with fast processors and alot of memory running Windows XP SP2.
Am I missing something?
If there is a way I can disable ACT 2008 Premium and Outlook 2003 integration completely, that would be great. I appreciate you taking the time to read my post and help me with this issue.
Thank you.

Remove the ACT address book from Outlook and the menu items will be removed.

Thanks. I will give that a try.
