when I try to sync (because it says it has been 230 days and will expire soon) I get this error:
ACT! is unable to connect to the sync server. check to be sure 'accept incoming sync' is enabled in the main database and that the Network sync service is running. Also to be sure you are connected to the network.
I have enabled the 'accept sync' in what I believe to be the main database. when I try to enable that option in the database having issues, it is ghosted out. I have no idea how to check the 'network sync service'.
