When updating ACT V18.2 with Hotfix 6, 3 of the 15 machines offered to download ACT V19.2 when I clicked on ACT Notifications.
Would be a disaster if someone did this and changed database to V19

Thank you for posting this, I had seen this in a couple of instances when V19 was released but not much since then.
Will see about this being looked into as we do not want people incorrectly updated.

I am due back on site week beginning 7th August to update all 15 to ACT V19.2
Will see if I can find out why some machines are giving this message from V18.1 and report back.

Maybe the "Automatically check for product updates" has been left checked in the Preferences | Notifications tab??

When I was on site about a week ago updating to the new patch for 18.2 when I used the built in function to check for updates some machines were linking to the ACT V19.2 update instead of the patch for 18.2 which should not happen and of course would cause all sorts of issues had some one done this.
