I have used the dowload link provided and downloaded the zip file and then on extraction seems to be proceeding when a message Act 11 already loaded and aborts the process of loading?

Is that the exact error?
If its telling you its already installed get the uninstaller from the knowledgebase, article 19338.
- If you have data, back it up (Manually if necisary) [ADF, ALF, DATABASEName-Database Files.] - DONT KEEP THE PAD FILE.
- use the uninstaller then reboot when asked
- turn off antivirus and Windows User Account Control
- attempt install.

Welcome to the ACT! Online Community. Does this error occur when you are unzipping the install package or when you are running the actual installation of ACT!?
Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
