When we upgrade our dbase from version 10.0.3.182, Hotfix 1 to 220.127.116.11 we get following errors when we do a check and repair with actdiag.
We convert our old dbase, then we save it as an empty dbase and import our old dbase, but after a while ACT shutsdown without any error.
How can we solve the errors? What is the best way to convert to a newer version of ACT?
The dbase was created in ACT2000 (scanned by redflags), converted to ACT2008 and now we want to convert it to ACT2009.
We're doing these steps because the dbase is getting very slow and very large. For 12000 contacts the dbase is more than 1Gb, this seems a lot for us?

size of 1 GB is not a big deal if you have lots of fields, lots of notes, pictures fields and etc.
you have had this for nearly 10 years so there's a lot of stuff in it.
Do you know about the tools in ACTdiag.exe found in the \program files\act\act for windows folder?
That is where I would start...
If that won't work then you would need ACT! Support's database repair department I would guess.
or you can fix it yourself if you know how to use SQL repair tools...
