Problems with web hooks

[ Edited ]

I am using https://actlb10.dmc-cloud.com/Tawi-api/Act.Web.API/ and have been told that web hooks are enabled and that I am a full admin.

However when I try to add a new webhook

{
"name": "C1 Contact Trigger",
"monitor": "Contacts",
"triggerEvent": "Created",
"queryOption": null,
"callbackUrl": "https://someurl.com",
"callbackToken": "",
"description": "Webhook to capture created contact."
}

I get this error:

  "message": "An error has occurred.",
  "exceptionMessage": "The database must be locked to apply schema changes.",

Also if I try to query the existing web hooks (https://actlb10.dmc-cloud.com/Tawi-api/Act.Web.API/api/webhooks), I get this error:

  "message": "Login failed for user 'ACTWEBHOOKS'.",
  "exceptionMessage": "Login failed for user 'ACTWEBHOOKS'.",

I have found the first piece to the jigsaw. There is an option to lock the database in the UI under the Tools menu.

Re: Problems with web hooks

The database that you would need to check would be the ActWebHooks database make sure the database is not in pending or in any irregular state.

Also make sure that the Act! WebHook Messenger is started.  If still no luck, you can delete the ActWebHooks database and restart the service.  This will recreate the database.

Thanks for your reply but I do not have access to the database.

Re: Problems with web hooks

Are you able to contact the administrator where the database is hosted?  They would need to make sure that WebHooks is configured and installed propertly.
