Metrics for authorization

Are there any metrics for the amount of time it takes to return authorization token.  We are trying to determine if we have a configuration issue with our IIS server because it takes about 8 seconds to authorize. Is this standard?

Re: Metrics for authorization

Time to authorize via API is largely dependent on your infrastructure and database, but as a comparative reference it should take far less time than logging into Act! for Web.  And keep in mind /authorize calls are going to be expensive, subsequent calls to the API using the token should be much faster comparatively.
