ETA for Act! Premium Cloud with Web API support

Xavier,

 

I saw your post in Feb saying not ready yet.  Can we get an updated status?

 

We have CompanionLink customers who would like to synchronize from Act! Premium Cloud to DejaOffice on their iPhone and Android phones.  We currently provide this functionality for Act! Cloud Essentials. 

 

We are ready to implement as soon as the API access is available for use by Act! Premium Web customers.

Our Cloud team is marching towards immediate inclusion in trials, with subsequent general roll-out around 18.1 in APC.  Let's connect offline to get you weaved in along our testing.  I think that might be mutually beneficial to ensure success.

I am also interested in the Web API for Premium Cloud.  How do I go about getting included on the trial program?

Hi,

 

Web API has reached general availability on Premium Cloud.  If you sign up for a trial account if Premium Cloud, you'll have Web API enabled along with it.

We have been trying to get Zapier or Outlook to connect but always get a connection error.

 

authorization failed: Javascript Exception: `2016-07-08T15:46:53.903Z 1faca9a5-4523-11e6-baba-f3b821e99bfa Task timed out after 30.00 seconds`.


 

What URL should I use to connect?  https://hosted6.act.com or do i include the /databaseName or /default.aspx?

For Act Premium Cloud customers, to get the correct URL for API access, you need to append your account name with "-api" then "/act.web.api".

For example, if your database url is https://eup1-iis-02.eu.hosted.act.com/ExampleCompany
Then the API URL would be https://eup1-iis-02.eu.hosted.act.com/ExampleCompany-api/act.web.api
