Custom Date fields have local format

Any custom fields that are specified as a Date get formatted as per their local machine settings and not as "yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm:ssZ"

Example from Companies endpoint

{

    "id": "99a049f6-9aec-479e-9096-1cbed5173410",

    .... (removed for brevity)
    "customFields": {
        "paclientcreated": "12/13/2011 12:00:00 AM"

    }

},
"created": "2016-08-17T13:52:59+10:00",
"edited": "2016-08-30T18:22:59+10:00",
"editedBy": "XActAPI",
"recordOwner": "Mark Wheeldon"
}

Re: Custom Date fields have local format

Follow up:

The next version of the API will format all datetime fields including custom fields as such: yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm:sszzz.  I do regret that datetime fields are not being returned in UTC time.  Changing this would require versioning of the API, which we are not ready to do at this time.  However, am am evaluating tapping into Act's timezone configuration settings and converting all datetime fields to that configured timezone or providing the API with its own timezone configuration.

Any suggestions are welcome.
