For instance, if I access https://usp1-iis-03.hosted1.act.com/Act.Web.API/Help, I get redirected to the home page with a message on not finding the account.
If I try https://usp1-iis-03.hosted1.act.com/<mydatabasename≥/Act.Web.API/Help, I get this message: The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.
So. Is there a special URL I need to use for accessing the Web API?

Absolutely, as long as the trial hasn't run out. The below URL isn't a valid account URL though.
Typically, a customer login URL is server1/tenant1/... and respective Web API for that customer on Premium Cloud would be /server1/tenant1-api/act.web.api.

Thanks Xavier. That was it. For archiving purposes, here's the URL that worked for me (without my database name):
It would be nice if this was documented somewhere.

Indeed, we've in fact documented this as part of the Web API docs, but haven't deployed these yet.
Main entry point for API docs is here: http://www.act.com/resources/api.
